Default Benelli Nova shotgun problem
hey guys need some help here with my benelli nova pump action, so it wont let me load shells normally I have to apply force by pushing the pump handle all the way forward towards the end of barrel then load the shells. The pump handle is bouncy like to much play (back and forth).any help would be great

I have to ask if the benelli is under warranty? Did you buy it new? Has it always been like that? What has been done to it?

Benelli may have warranty repair or a recall. Have you checked with them?

It always worked fine I will call them after the holidays to see if there is any recalls.

I bought it used and as far as I can tell nothing has been done to it but I would not be able to tell if it has been altered. Do I take the chance and take it apart, I'm no gunsmith but am usually good with fixing things LOL

Okay guys I decided to take it apart which was real easy, first thing I noticed is when I pulled the trigger assembly out a little spring fell out so that's in a zip lock bag and second the two arms that are connected to the pump arm look like there jumping the bolt so something is wore.

You can find a lot of nice schematics at http://www.brownells.com/. You will see the tab labeled schematics at the top of the page. Once you click on the tab you will get a dialog to select make and model.
