Default Bakail .223 and the 200 pound trigger!

I picked up a Bakail .223 imported by Remington for a really cheap price. The thing is accurate and fun to shoot. The only complaint that I have is the trigger is like pulling a dumptruck!!! Can these be tuned or polished and still be safe for packing chambered??? Thanks in advance!!!

The trigger can be helped but I wouldn't advise trying it yourself-take it to your local gunsmith.

They are really that bad... I have worked over my rem 700 and 770. Plus a couple marlin 60's and a real pain was a plinkster 702. I have been afraid of this one since its a russian rifle. Hard to find parts if I screw it up!! Want to do it for me Stalkingbear??? There is really no one here that I trust!!!

I'd be glad to but I turned in my FFL back in when I retired. I'm disabled now and it would be a PIA to send it to an FFL then me pick it up, filling out the 4473 as if it was mine, then shipping it back to your FFL. Where do you live? Maybe I know someone close to you.
