Default Anyone know of a good Gunsmithing Course

Was thinking, as I do alot of traveling and spend a few hours each night in a hotel vegging in front of the TV. Why not put that time to good use and learn something. Is there a course out there a man can pay for and obtain DVDs, gear, books etc and learn decently?

American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI) has video courses for purchase. You can select which courses you want. They also have a monthly news letter.

Check out their website.

The AGI is the best video/cd for gunsmithing that I'm aware of.

I ordered the Practical Gunsmithing course from AGI just to see if that format of teaching would work for me. I found it to be really informative as far as basic smithing and gave me a much bigger idea of terms and proper names of common parts of firearms and tools needed to begin. IMO it was worth it, and gave me a foot in the right direction.
