Default American Arms Escort/EP-380 parts help

I have 2 AAI Escort pistols. Both have a broken trigger spring. The company is out of business, Numerich is out of stock and I am guessing not going to get anymore. Does anyone know if I can take a spring from another pistol and use it or modify one for use? Thank you

Do you have both pieces of the broken spring? If so then it's pretty easy for your gunsmith to match up the spring from his parts bin. If you're wanting to do it yourself then Brownells has spring assortments for sale. Just get the 1 that most closely matches the spring you need.

Thank you for the reply Bear, unfortunately the end of the spring that broke is nowhere to be found. I will look at Brownells.

looking at a schematic it seems it's a simple torsion spring, McMaster Car may have what you're looking for
