Default Aga?

Has anybody heard of the American Gunsmithing Association? Can you tell me about it?

AGA or AGI?
Both are somewhat associated together. For $35 a year, you get a magazine that I have found to be informative. They offer courses at a decent price.
But, if you are interested in becoming a gunsmith, I suggest attending a school.

The American Gunsmith Association (AGA) is with the American Gunsmith Institute (AGI).
One is an association of gunsmiths and the other is the schooling offered through them.

Unless I've been duped all these years.

American Gunsmithing Association is a monthly publication. I WAS a member
for a long time but about a 18 months ago, they changed editors. Since then, the articles became less technical and of little use in my opinion. I did not renew this year. No longer worth the money.
