Default Action Magic II and Ballistol

I have been reading about Ballistol oil and Magic Action II ( a metal lubricant treatment. Having a difficult time cutting through the advertising claims.

Has anyone used these products?
Would you use them on your firearms?

www.militec1.com

you want the very best...THE lubricant that out performed EVERYTHING in military and LE testing..........it what is used by spec ops in the desert and really works.

Throw away CLP...which failed, and get the real thing MILITEC

Outperforms everything on the market....but not mass marketed thru gun stores.

I tried action Magic II and what a waste of time.

I spent 3 days applying it with my fingers, it worked for about 200 rds then nothing, I had to oil the revolver.

MiliTec is great stuff, cleaning the gun is paramount prior to applying and the shooting the get it hot which embeds the molecules.

CLP - I've never had a problem with it. There are/were 2 formulas. One had teflon and the other didn't. I prefer the teflon added CLP.

Yes, I buy Ballistol by the gallon! It is a completely non-toxic gun cleaner. (You could, even, swallow the pure liquid; but, I wouldn't) Ballistol cleans well and is an excellent rejuvenator for polymer frame guns. It, also, makes a superior leather preservative and can be used on your belts and holsters. (The dark ones!) I mean, just how bad can Ballistol be? The Germans ran two world wars while using this stuff as their only gun oil.

(Smells nice, too!)
