Just bought a 12 ga 870. the barrel guide that slides over the feed tube is broke off the barrel. How do I reattach it?
it will need to be silver soldered on or brazed on more than likely. which means the barrel and guide will need to be refinished when completed. you will most likely need the services of a gunsmith or you could contact remington and see if they have a warranty to cover this repair.
I sent gun to a Remington service center. They sent it to the factory. I talked with them today and was told it should be covered under warranty. Yea!!
