Thanks Aus. I know you're not talking about my photography skills.

Next sunny morning I'll take better photos.

It's looking good Don. Hope you get that trigger to work without too much of a change of life. It will work, but what I've read, sometimes it's at time consuming process. Well worth it though.

Oh yeah, I want that trigger installed. Frankly, I got tired of screwing with it and decided to at least get it back together so I can move on.

I'll take it to Gary T. for the trigger install and adjustment. I have another rifle project in the works for about three weeks from now and I wanted to clear the decks.

Outstanding Don! I'm looking forward to seeing this one done, and the next one undertaken.

Thanks guys. It really looks much better than I can show, but by now you all know that my photography skills are non existent.

The next one is something I just fell into courtesy of another member here. I'm stoked about it. It's coming in to an FFL here next week and then I have to wait ten days to get it out of CA gun jail.

I too am building a Springfield 03A3 into a sporter. It will be a 25-06. Light and easy to handle so I can take it up in the mountains. Should be good for sheep or goats. And still work fine on deer and antelope. I have a model 1917 that I built in gunsmith school. A heavy varminter with a big laminated thumbhole stalk. I will have to tell the story of how I got that stock.
