Default 1911 trigger

hello, I am a weapons aficionado/in other words...a gunsmith enthusiast, i own two 1911's , my father brother cousin and father in law as well, i have design and cut several 1911 trihhers and engrave them with the year and initials for each member of my family,.... by the way they are made out of aluminumbronze and shine to perfection... the only thing I need is the trigger bow.... where can i buy them... i have look everywhere... please help!!! i want to acomplish my gifths...

The trigger bow has never been a separate item, sir. The original triggers were one-piece, for example. You may attempt to contact manufacturers of aftermarket triggers to see if they might be willing to sell you a bow that's not yet been attached to the shoe, but I fear that would be a long shot.

You may just have to make your own bows.

Or purchase a bunch of cheap triggers and cut the finger pad off.

There is a seller on Gunbroker who's got *take off* Colt triggers.

He is a great seller (I bought a bunch of his mags recently).

He has a bunch of triggers.
