Wireless Taser/Electroshock Infomercial Question...

Hi All, first post here :)

First off, had an important question concerning something I remember seeing several years ago, in the mid-90's to be exact. It was an infomercial concerning a taser-like weapon that was almost as small as a small flashlight, yet unlike tasers that we all know them it didn't have any electrical wires shooting out, nor did it have any darts. As if it just shot out electricity through the air (as the commercial notes that no wires are used). Anyway just wondering if anyone remembers such an infomercial of such a 'self defense' item and if so what the name of it was. Wondering about this and it's kinda driving me crazy

Forget about it...

It was an InfoSCAM.

A Taser has always used expelled barbs as part of the device. What you are describing sounds like any one of a dozen or so flashlight stun guns. Cheetah Stun Guns makes a good one, but their availability is poor to say the least. But there are several others that also have similar products.

But no, I do not remember any infomercial regarding a flashlight styled stun gun.

How would you control an electric charge in the air? Being a sithlord my hands are registered tasers lol.

I think it's not a TASER, but another self defense device. I say you forget about it, there are other alternatives you can choose from which you can use to protect yourself.
