Benchmade and Kabar. I also have great affection for an old Uncle Henry Bearpaw folding hunter that was my EDC for over twenty years.

I like ESEE as well, but don't own one right now. I had an ESEE 6 that I liked, but I really should have bought an ESEE 4. The 6 was just too large for my purposes, so I sold it.

I have a Spyderco Endura that I carried for awhile with no complaints. At the present time, I carry a SOG Trident and a CRKT Foresight, which I just bought about a week ago. It's a Ken Onion design. It's really tight and solid but it's not as easy to open as the SOG Trident. Both were really sharp right out of the box! I also own a smaller Spyderco which I believe is a Delica but I've misplaced so I don't know for sure! Last but not least, I have a SOG Seal Pup which I really like.

Benchmade (if you know steels, locks, and appreciate design) and Ontario Knife Co. (OKC, if you know practical value) for sure, and an honorable mention to Spyderco and CRKT.

I like cheap and ready to work knives. Schrade and Cold Steel are my favorite knives. Now, the trick is finding a leather sheath for a Cold Steel that doesn't cost more than the knife.

Love my CRKT model M16. Holds an edge better than any knife I've had before. And for $30 comes in under ALOT of the competition.

It's about a 4 inch blade. It's my EDC. Came with a FDE handle and coyote blade. LOVE IT!

I have plenty expensive and collectable knives, but none have been used for so long(30+years) and hard. Hunting without my old Schrade-Walden is unthinkable for me. It's also US made.
