SOG, my power lock multitool has succeeded where ive seen many a gerber and leatherman break...cutting those freaking metal bands off pallets of ammo

and the seal and trident lines are also two of my favorites

as ive said.....tough as nuclear nails

i dont like Ka-bar's, their tang gets far to narrow in the grip for my opinion, making it weaker where the blade and the handle meet

Randall. I own five. One is a 12 inch Bowie I bought at his shop in Orlando in 1955. I still have the sales slip signed by Bo Randall himself. No one has ever made a knife comparable to a Randall.

Old medium Camillius stockman. Carbon steel Schrade sharp finger for skinning. Small Hen & Rooster stockman as a gentleman's knife. I also have a Walther Allied Forces folder for a combat/tactical sticker. JIM S.

For fixed blades, I tend to go with Fallknvien and some Cold Steel (no Chinese made) like the SRK series and I also like SOG knives.
Folders are almost always Spyderco.

I prefer Old timer/Schrade knives. Schrade knives might not be the best steel but they have some hard working designs. Cold Steel is working it's way into my heart. It will take a few years for me to be in love with Cold Steel knives but in the first few months I am impressed.

I carry a uncle henry everyday. It was my dads and i have had it for 15 years and i dont know how long he had it before i got it. Not the sharpest or the nicest looking knife but i love this knife and will carry it untill it breaks or my oldest son is old enough to have it.
