My spyderco native has done everything I have asked of it for 3 years. I love buck knives too, and the way they do business.

I like a lot of different knife brands and Benchmade is one of the good ones.
Here's my Benchmade Emerson CQC7 Spec war model.

I have a Spyderco, and a Benchmade I carry one or the other regularly. I really like both of them. Excellent quality, some of the best blade steel on both. I would recommend both.

Morakniv. Excellent quality and price. The Scandinavian grind edges are extremely sharp and easy to maintain.

S&W Extreme Ops. Black, serrated blade, automatic open. It has been pretty reliable for the last 5 years. Used it as my on duty/off duty knife for 2 years and it's continued to be my sidekick off duty for the last 3 years. The spring is just like new; the blade is a little dull as a result of pretty heavy use and me too lazy to sharpen it, but the serrated edge suffices for my purposes. Bought it for $40 back then and I'm going to use it until it falls apart. It being automatic, of course, will limit who can purchase it.

This is the only knife I have and it belonged to my father and was used in Vietnam and many years after.
It's a case, but you can hardly read it, and it's very sharp.
I think I'll keep it.

That's insanely gorgeous. Well done sir. I wish I could afford a knife of that quality and beauty.
