I was prying with mine, trying to pop the screen off my window so I could sneak out when I was a teen. Like I said though I got lucky, the piece that broke on my was tiny, I mean like less than a millimeter, more of a chip than anything.

I had the MKII and I thought it was an awesome knife kept a sharp edge for a long time ( I used it as a work knife so it was used and abused ) I did eventually break the tip but overall good knife ( my opinion) lasted me 2 years
