By the way, that second article mentions that, while England leads the violent crime stats in Europe, N. Ireland has one of the lowest rates!
|
I would agree take out the terrorist crimes and N Ireland has a low crime rate.

Agree with the sentiment , but once the gun become illegal you might want to consider a dash of subtlety to go along with concealed carry...

If they take away guns, what will you carry? The anwser is really quite simple.
If guns are illegal, only criminals will own them. We all know how well criminals oby the current gun laws. We also know that new ones will still be ineffective. By this logic, I would be a criminal. Therefore, Why would I have any reason to follw the law? i have to agree with Hossfly. A gun of course! The laws of man would not apply, and if I am willing to die or kill for my family, why would I not be willing to risk jail time.
Besides, a gun is a lot easier on the back than carrying around a cop!

I used to carry my shotgun to school in my truck so I could go hunting with my buddy after school. This was in the late 80's. I have had a concealed carry permit since I was old enough to get one. I own alot of guns and dont really need another one but I'll be damned if Im going to give one or all of them up. I took an oath when I joined the army in 1986 and as far as Im concerned it still applies today. I will never stop carrying a gun. Ever. Some things are worth fighting for. Some things are bigger than I am and I have accepted that. My life isnt as important as this countries God given rights being protected. Millions of Americans have died to keep our freedom and rights and Im no better than any one of them. I will carry and keep my guns regardless of what happens.

Maybe a Katana.
