Last night I threw 2 blades into my tumbler with some gravel. Yes GRAVEL. The finish comes out kind of satin. I think it gives a more Tacti-Cool look. What are your thoughts? Shiny or Satin? Remember this will affect my up coming promotion.

Satin. Then blue it!
Dan, i like the look the gravel puts on the blade. looks good. shiny is good, if it is highly buffed out and polished like a mirror. but the satin finish looks nice and would be less labor intensive.
Blue it....hmmm....wonder what that looks like.....
I received a really nice knife as a gift last year, but i never carry it because the blade has a mirror finish i just don't like. Stoned & blue sounds good.http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/product/gear-%26-gadgets/outdoor-gear/french-laguiole-knife the gift
Dead Bears, the only good kind.

For me i like the mirror polish on my survial knife. That blue might be kewl for a tact-knife.
