Have you heard about the family BTK killed? Mom and dad were both BJJ black belts. BTK was still able to bind torture and kill them.

I received BJJ training while an 11B and trained MMA for years. None of that means a thing when someone has a gun or walks into my bedroom when I'm sound asleep. It wouldn't take someone more than a second to go from my bedroom door to my bed. That's not near enough time to wake up, collect my senses and react.

The best HD weapon is an alarm and deadbolts and they seem to like bars over the windows out west.

I have a 12 guage with a "short" barrel if you know what i mean with pistol grip and forarm grip. Also I have gronkowski, not the 6' 6" 265 football player, the 16 inch 15 pound shiba inu. Wont take much to get him off of you but put your hands on me and hell go for the throat.

Plus it only takes about 5 psi to pull a persons ears off, so you might not want to put your hands on me ;-)

Right now I am renovating the master bathroom and that leaves a 16oz claw hammer and a 16" pry bar within easy reach... Also the screwdrivers and various other tools related to that project... Closer to my bed, however, is a 5" bladed CRKT Ultima.. Mean little Tanto with a light swept belly... Great for fighting...
