On army bases like schofield, where i was stationed as a mp, you cant have anything bigger than a pocket knife and things like tasers and chemical weapons (pepper sprays) were not legal.
While i personally never actually bothered anyone that had such things not all mp where as pro 2a and self defense as me.
A good long philips screwdriver make good pokers when not used for driving screws...
Ive never heard of anyone being arrested for having automotive tools in a car. I dont see it any different as using your car keys as minnie stabbing devices.
