Default Two huge swedged bowie knives for a Canadian

A gentleman from Canada wanted two matching monster bowies. I made these using blades that are 9 3/4-inches long and 2 1/2-inches wide fabricated from 420c stainless steel. Each knife measures more than 16-inches long. The knives also are heavy. I'm guessing the blades are 4 mm thick. Each has a specially treated elk antler handle - finely sanded, polished and fitted with a fancy wooden end cap. Of course, the handles are beveled to fit the large solid brass bolsters. You really have to hold one of these to appreciate its size, weight and the appearance of the blades and handles.
