Is it sharp and is it hold an edge. I hate getting half way through a deer and my blade gets dull.

What knives are you buying that won't stay sharp long enough to dress a deer?

The field pup is a solid knife. I am not a huge fan of SOG knives but that one is a decent performer for the money.
