I cracked up! I'm just messing with you though. We'll let you have an E-tool.

Thanks all.

It is my goal, and that of the ICCF, to get good, practical information out there...

Speaking for myself, keep it coming. I've joined your forum too, and have been very much enjoying the browsing over there.

Thanks...ICCF is more of an information repository though our staff are well versed in all areas of the spectrum and will help when they can.

Yeah I've noticed that there seems to be more information than conversation. That's okay though, I'm taking notes.

Only because folks don't ask questions. We're NOT an experts forum, we have experts who are friendly and helpful...I think some folks are intimidated, that's all I can figure...oh well, it's there...

Kilo you obviously do your homework the only thing I would like to say on the topic is about the crovel. I work in the special operations community and the crovel has served me well where other E-tools have failed me. I just recently used it for the first time in harsh jungle conditions. I was unsure how it would perform and if it would be worth the high price tag. After weeks of using it for digging latrines, chopping small trees for making shelters and blinds, using it on one ocassion as a breaching tool, and using it to kill a critter or two it has performed flawlessly. Other tools may be much smaller and a little less weight however rarely stand up to hard use for any length of time. Thank you gentlemen but my bug out bag has a crovel tied to it from now on.

Well BM I guess I stand corrected. Perhaps I should have said that for the average user it's a bit pricey nonetheless, for heavy-duty usage, it is worth the money...
