Is this for real?

I got this at a gun show twenty years ago (or so?) Case denies making such a knife. Is it authentic? Is it worth saving? Is it junk?

It's junk just for what it represents. Just my opinion

MisterMcCool 06-27-2013 12:27 AM

That's what I thought.

This unit was altered after Case sold it.

Sort of like a bubba-ed gun.

That is ridiculous. I probably paid twenty bucks or so. I'm cheap.
By the way, this one is for sale for only $499 :p
That last part may not be true.

The "Clan" was a hugh political movement prior to WWII. Most of the American male population were or had been members. In such states as Indiana the "Clan" controlled the state government from the governor down to local mayors. There were many items sold to this large market.

I've seen knives like that for years now. Case does deny it but it looks much liek many other limited run knives they have sold. So it's a toss up I guess. I do know as a Case collector that those knives while offensive are pretty high dollar collector knives. That leads me to believe that they did make it. It's just not in any books I've seen.

Why did you buy it? Not trying to be rude. Just wondering.
