Not sure what you are asking? But here in Michigan the blue berry orchard owner use sounds of gun shot machines to scare away the birds. I know of one owner that was taken to court over the use of it every day. Not sure how he came out. They sound very real.

Where I was herring fishing one time, one of the set-net site owners had a propane cannon that fired at about 15 minute intervals to scare off the seals. I think it actually called them in (Hmm, cannon's going off, Hank must have fish in his net...) Wasn't very portable though. Suppose you could carry it in the back of your pickup.
