My must haves! Fury folder, Winchester skinner, and for the collecters. An 80 year old original bone handle Bowie.
And for fun my twin 18" Rangers.

May get a ESEE-5 with some of my tax return for a shtf knife,it would ride in my truck and get taken in camping trips till it needs to fulfill its bug-out duties. Weighs a whole pound and is a quarter inch thick, basically a prybar shaped as a knife. But when does a knife not end up getting used as that when there's nothing else around? Plus it would be comforting to know it wont break, period.

Well I don't have pics but I have several I would want, my Ka-Bar D2, Buck 110, and one of several machetes laying around the yard (preferably the 18" corona.) Although I wouldn't be to put out to just have my EDC knives.

Don't have pics of this yet, but I bought a Buck/Ron Hood knife that seems to be working excellent for my outdoor work. At least here's a link to Buck's pictures of it.
I watched a youtube clip with the designer on how he came up with the blade, and how much work went into the handles to stop the vibration rebounding into the hand as it is wielded. Too bad Mr Hood past away last year, he seemed to have a knack for blades.

My buddy bought one of those. I played with it last week and it was really nice.
Ron Hood was one hell of a character and he will be missed. His classes in the Sierras were awesome.

I'm reviving this this thread.
I recently bought a Condor Golak machete and am currently waiting for an ESEE 4 and an ESEE 5 to show up. I bought them new/used on a couple of other forums I frequent. I'm going to check them out and then keep one and sell the other.
I've also been trying not to buy a Katz tanto knife. It's for sale on a different forum for half price and is new in the box. I'm just having a hard time trying to justify buying it. Because it's a Tanto, it's really a fighting knife and with any luck I'll never see a knife fight, let alone be in one. I'm too old and anyway, that's what guns are for. But the darn thing is beautiful, has a white Micarta handle and the fit and finish is superb.
