Default picked up some new toys

Got the first two second hand for a total of $11. Paid $5 for the tomahawk, just thought it was cute. Paid $6 for the karambit. It's a first production S&W ExtremeOps, I was in need of a karambit in my collection and the price was right. I actually really like it, it is well made. The third was an on the fly purchase (can't think of the word, I'm pre-coffee). I saw Gunny approved and grabbed it for $60. It's a SOG powerlock. It is awesome. You can actually order replacement components and customize it to your needs. Very well made and the blade is ridiculously sharp. I find the protective plates a bit annoying but they can be removed. I love the fact that the blade etc. lock in place when open and it is designed for one handed opening. What do you guys think?

*Shrug* Knives aren't really my thing. The phrase you're looking for is "Impulse Buy" LOL

If I were to buy a knife, it would be a Benchmade Infidel. Badass knife, but it costs as much as some guns....

Ahh thank you. Had a rough night and I'm just getting to my second cup o Joe. I just couldn't come up with the word. I used to be huge into bladed weapons but I found guns. Lol
I'm not familiar with the one you are referring to but I know what you're saying about the prices. There are some beautifully crafted toys out there but if it comes to knife or gun due to price, I'm going gun. Hell I went without a multi-tool for 2 years because they wanted too much money for them.

The Infidel is an OTF switchblade. I have handled one at State Line GS Open House, the Benchmade rep was there. The also stock this knife, as does Headlines in Nashua. $450 +-

Who doesn't like new toys? The internet is a wonderful thing for impulse buying.

But, the toys that I really want are nowhere to be found right now. I'm in a buying mood, with nothing to spend it on.
