Default Pick my Poison

So while we wait to see if our custom man is on board, here is the poll that decides what I'll go up against J.D.'s Outcast with if it falls through.

I will go with the winner, so we have a plan B if we can't get Mr. Sword, and we can get this kicked off and running.

If you vote, please take a moment and give thought to a challenge you would like to see. Try to keep it survival based.

I really like the look/specs of the ontario knives. Made in USA as well
For a survival challenge......Hmmmm
Maybe build a lean-to or skin a crocodile

All the knives listed are quite different to the Outcast, so it's going to be a sort of apples to oranges comparison no matter what we choose. Perhaps one of the larger Rangers might be similar enough.

With that been said, I still want to see a Griptilian put to good use. I was about to buy one and went with a Spyderco Temperance instead, but it won't be long before I give in to temptation and order one.

While they are different, that was what we were going for this time around. It's not only a battle of superior manufacture, but of design itself.

In the end, it really doesn't matter, my testing capabilities will make any knife shine. I just really feel badly for the Panda, a gentle giant that must pay a terrible price.

Looks like the Griptilian.

Thank you for your input, gentlemen.

I would love to see a Benchmade rant...not sure if it could hold up to a true Tango.

That said, SOG is the way for this test. Jmhdp
