That is very nice looking knife! Was the blade made from a file? I like that you left the file feel on the back of the blade, presumably for grip. How did you get that much shine on the blade finish?

Thanks for the welcome. It was indeed a file. I heat treated it and it's all hand sanded and polished. The wood is Afzelia from cambodia. I make most of these for fun anyway.

Beautiful work man. Tell me something ,isn't the steel a file is made very brittle or is there something I don't know going on here ?

Its called heat treating em so that you improve there temper aka make em less brittle
