This is my first attempt from a blade and guard I bought and an antler from a deer I took years ago:


Most kit blades I've seen are rough and require a fair amount of finishing work if you want a nice finished product. I have another 3 blades and 2 other knives that only need scales to finish and after that I think I'll stick to someone else doing the work for me. I just don't have the time for all my hobbies...

i got a GOOD belt sander which makes the world go round when shaping your knife also what every knife maker needs i have a paragon knife kiln it is electric and works great it goes up to 2000 degrees also an angle grinder a dremel and a good sharpenng system helps i have about 2000$ worth of equipment there are ways to do it cheaper but this is a good start for a new knife maker
