Default M&P folder

Just picked up a M&P folder, kinda like it. Very sturdy and the blade really whips out. Anybody have any experience with these things? Seems to be a pretty good cheap EDC knife to me.ImageUploadedByFirearms Talk1436161281.662344.jpgImageUploadedByFirearms Talk1436161314.591088.jpgImageUploadedByFirearms Talk1436161337.586799.jpgImageUploadedByFirearms Talk1436161412.816675.jpg

I am a bit of a knife guy, as in I sell them (pretty much exclusively Cold Steel lately). I have owned a few Smith and Wessons, they aren't bad. My only issue with them is that, like damn near every knife company, they have a good line and a cheap line. I had the original HRT, which was a good knife. I also had an M&P, didn't like it. I use the hell out of my knifes, and my M&P was constantly getting loose. Held a decent edge though. In my knife experience, that would be my 'tape cutter' or 'last ditch effort because my other knives are gone' knife. Sorry, just being honest.

I carry the 3 on the left, virtually daily. Left most in my general purpose, 2nd from left is what I use for hard cutting materials (like heavy duty zip-ties), 3rd from the left is the one I like to carry for self defense, but have used it to cut down branches and the like while I'm out in the field or parking my vehicle somewhere and getting annoyed by the leaves hitting me in the face. The on all the way on the right, is huge and something I used for comparison to show sizes, I do NOT carry it, because it's freaking massive (in my opinion).

No thank you for your honesty, I didn't pay much I wasn't expecting a super knife, that's why I included the word cheap haha. It feels pretty sturdy currently but maybe after a month or so I might run into the problems you Did.

Yeah, sorry. You posted something about knives and the manly bits in my head got all tingly! . Maybe I went to much into detail. If you ever want a Cold Steel knife, hit me up. I offer discount prices to the public, further discounted for LEO/ Military/ EMS... etc.

I am also a pocket knife junky. I have a couple of Kershaw's and a Buck that are my daily carry, I have no real good ones because I am not ready to pay more than about $60 for a knife. I have a lot of $10 to $15 gun show knives that I keep around the house to use as I need them immediately. Then when the grandson shows up I have to gather them up to keep them out of his han

I keep looking though and one of these days I have a good Emerson I am looking at that is about $120. That knife is destined for my pocket. Not if, just when.

i have one that i got at a gun show a year or two ago. i like it. assisted opening, safety, aluminum handle, serrated blade. i like it a lot. nice and heavy so i know it's there. i usually lose them, so that helps. it's cheap, but i cant bring myself to spend $100 on a knife. i'd rather buy more ammo with that extra dough.

only downside, one of the screws on the belt clip fell out at some point and i cant find replacement.

You know, I have spent a lot of time trying to design really good, useful, tasteful knives.
This thread proves that I'm doing it all wrong. People don't want that. People don't care about good, tasteful, or useful. The weirder it looks and the cheaper it is, the more people like it.

It's not that we don't appreciate $400 knives, it's just that we would rather spend our hard earned cash on guns and ammo, after all this is "Firearms talk forum" look I appreciate the craftsmanship and history when it comes to Crafting a high quality blade, but like I said. We're gun guys.
