DefaultL6 Tomahawk

Here's a Tomahawk that I have been working on:

http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg205/rbranan/L6%20Tomahawk%20pics/

Hand Forged Crucible L6 Tool Steel with GunKote Head

Molten Salt quench

Differentially heat treated with hamon.

Noryl (synthetic) handle that I carved for this particular head with DuraCoat OD green.

Kydex sheath with TekLok.

I'm not quite finished yet but I thought that I would share the progress with you.

I have also started on a W1 head to be finished in a similar manner.

When I get it completed I'll post some better pictures.

Respectfully,

Robert

Your link doesn't seem to work bro - but I, for one, would like to see your work. Please recheck and perhaps try a different hosting service.

I know just about zip about 'hawks, but that one looks mean to me. Will you shape the handle any? What's left to be done on the head/blade?
