I also sharpen other things to but it depends on what it is as to how much it costs. I use a cardboard wheel for hatchets, machetes, big knives etc etc. there is another guy in town who does sharpening "professionally" and not one person goes to him when they know ill do it for cheaper and do a better job to boot.

It polishes the edge really well so there are absolutely no ridges or other imperfections on the bevel. I rub the rouge on the leather, take ten swipes on each side and I'm done.

Ya the guy that makes knives at silver dollar city is the one that told me about it. Saddle soap is one of the things I use to lube the bolts of my bolt action rifles also

A work sharp knife/tool sander is a good tool also
