Wow another top quality blade. So impressive your finish work is impressive. I hope to one day build true works of art like you do.
This is my latest build its nothing fancy but it is my first folder. I love old school, so I built this friction folder for my daily use. It's copper stainless and western walnut with a O-1 blade.

Listen to me now...I've looked at your work and you are doing an absolutely wonderful job in your craft. For someone who's been at it only as long as you have and doing the work you're showing already, I have no doubts you'll be without question headed for a Mastersmith at this. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this but us "oldies" smile wide when we see those coming up behind us yearning to do the crafts and endeavoring to hone it to a level of perfection as you are. Don't stop, I truly enjoy watching you produce your work. Thank You for your kind words too. I used to travel to Yellville Ark often and I've met some very good people down that way over the years as well as some darn good blacksmiths.

Thank you kimber. I've been going to the arkansas knife makers meeting when I can and have met some of the greates master smiths in the world. I'm so lucky to have so many great guys to help show a younger guy like me how to build a good quality knife. It's great to have people who are proud of this craft and are so willing to help teach others. I've only been at this for 1 1/2 years ad each knife teaches me so much. I can't wait to try my hand at a custom show quality knife soon I've got a few ideas for one to spent a few weeks on just for the joy of building something beyond my own expectations and to push myself to build something beyond my current builds. Thank you for looking at the knives I build. It means a lot to have truly great blade smiths look at my work and see progress in my work. What a great way to learn and make friends in a craft that is becoming so important to me.

I don't own any high dollar custom knives but I have to admit I envy the heck out of anyone that can produce works of art like the ones posted on here. If tried making a knife it would end up looking like something cobbled together by a mentally retarded Cro-magnon. And I admit to buying some pretty cheap knives but here are some of the better ones I own.

A Applegate/Fairbairn fighting knife

A Benchmade automatic knife

A EK Desert Storm Knife

A Cold Steel SRK

A Cold Steel Recon Tanto
