Emerson knives are really good blades. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

As a knife maker myself, I have to say the wave feature is a really genius invention. Super simple but works perfectly.

I own quite a few knives, slipjoints for the most part appeal to me more than modern folders.

I made this one from an old file that I annealed, shaped and differentially heat treated.

After I put it together and let it sit clamped overnight. Kind of ruff looking.


Shaped up now just to clean it up and put the end cap on I'm working on.
