Knife carry

I have a folding knife with a length of about 2.5 inches and it is not a gravity knife.
Is it legal for me to carry it around on my person or to leave it in my glove compartment of my car?

BTW I live in Maryland

You can carry it in Missouri without a CCW. As long as the blade is under 4 inches and is not a gravity knife or switchblade. Assisted open like Kershaw are fine also.

I dunno' about Maryland, but it's legal in the People's Socialist Republik of Kalifornia.

You should be OK. Do not try to carry into a courthouse, beyond security at an airport, etc.
