Default Karambit Knife

My Karambit arrived today from Italy and it seems to be everything advertised.
Takes from 4-8 weeks to get one as they are handmade.

It works exactly as it is suppose to and I'll I've done is switch the clip to a left hand draw and put 2 drops of Froglube on the mechanism.

Here's a link with videos on how it works.

looks like you could really scream your war cry and reek havoc on a bag of cheetos with that thing.

seriously I'd venture to say that that is waterjet cut and CNC machined. Not sure where the handmade part comes into play.

The blade looks like a CRKT Bearclaw.

Wasn't made for skinning but you could reek havok on an attacker and I guess if you don't make it yourself it's .... but the price is right for my needs as I have many other types of knives.

Self defense knife for a "specific" use and Steel Talon is correct, I should have written "made in Italy".
G-10 scales, very good ergonomics, and a razor sharp blade made of N690Co steel a high quality European steel that is similar in performance to VG-10.

As most hand to hand type combat or knife disarming is that it's much more difficult to perform as this Karambit knife w/ its ring feature & talon shape design is not only easier to maneuver around any wrist grabbing moves to stop your opponent, but also is nearly impossible for you to stab your own arm with (as opposed to holding a straight blade in reverse) as the blade is curved outward. That's why we love this knife.

A video of it's use and if I can become 1/3 as proficient as Emerson I'll be satisfied.

Well Dan, I like your knife craft work but it never hurts to learn a new type of defense when there are people who still desire to see your demise.
As far as the "badass" comment , to me a badass would be Mike Echanis (RIP).

Altimeter bombs will get you every time...(RIP Echanis)

You definitely have a definitive fighter, wicked hookers and raker's they are..... They originally started out as a rice farming implement. Filipino women traditionally would carry a kerambit hidden in their hair back in the day for defense. Of course they were fixed blade and of a bit different structure back then.

In the 50's and 60's the "Hawk Bill (linoleum knife) was popular with the Pachuco's.
