Default KA-BAR For Backpack

Was at Sportmans Whse. the other day to buy some Carhartt shirts for work and as I walked by the knife section of the store and I.........

Short KA-BAR model 1256 with leather sheath.

5-1/4" long blade, fairly light in weight, and just right for the backpack.

That's a nice knife. I had one of those for many years and it always held a good edge.

Congrats on the new addition.

You'll love that knife. I have the same one in my BOB. It's a great size and considerably handier than the full size combat knife. It also weighs less to pack around.
