If you could only have one knife

I wouldn't be surprised to find if this thread already existed, but if you could only have one knife (not a bowie type) what would it be?

Seein as how ESEE backs up and uses their own products, it would prolly be one of those. I wanna get one of their outstanding knives, when I can afford it.

I could never get by with just one knife. However, in theory I would pick a fixed blade, drop point knife with about a 4 inch blade. Among the one's I own, it would be hard to choose between my Swamp Rat Howing Rat and my Bark River North Star.

+1 except it would be my Gene Ingram #30 drop point Firesteel (stock photo as I wouldn't dare take something this nice to where I'm at now!):

If I could only choose one knife, it would have to be a bowie type of knife.

Probably one of my KA-Bars.

Not a bowie knife, I guess I'd strap on my Ontario Gen II SP-43!!

I'd go with this little hunter I built at Alan Hutchinson shop. It's hand forged 1060 with a stainless guard and a western walnut handle. It holds a great edge and isn't to big and bulky.

Buck 110 have carried it for over 40 years

I really like my S&W tactical knife. I have had it for 7years now. Yet, I always carry at least four knives with me while hunting. Each serves a separate purpose.
