About $80 and 6 hours of work not including curing time. Learned a few lessons along the way.

Thanks. Yeah it was unlike anything else I had. I had to have it.
The scales are curly maple, not sure what types of steel are in it but it took a long time to put an edge on. It's shaving sharp now, hopefully it holds and edge well.
This is actually the first time I've done any type of knife based fabrication. It's a great starting point.

Kewl. What's the steel mix?

Thanks. I'm relatively happy with it for a first attempt. On the next one I will definitely test fit everything before I apply epoxy (avoid the chips around the rods) and I'll make sure to use an epoxy with more than a 5 minute cure time.

My first 2 attempts were actually better. I think I rushed this one.

Very Nice.
It is definitely an art in itself.
I'm thinking I'm going to go with a file and cherry on the next one and hopefully get some decent file work done on it.
