Default Hunting Knife

Here is one I've just finished. The handle is Afzelia burl with brass pins. 1095 high carbon that I deferentially quenched in brine water. This leaves the spine soft and the cutting edge hard. Holds a really sharp edge. Still need to put my mark on it.

Afzelia and Amboyna have got to be my most favorite woods. You can see the hamon line if you look close.
