Although it's not shown in the video, his website does mention the tempering process that all his knives get...

Yes I did, 400 degrees for 1 hour, cool, repeat

Very interesting video Dan, did you design and make the specialist fabrication tools yourself ? Have you ever made stainless damascus knives ?

yes I make or recycle old things into things I can use. I mean why buy a center scribe for $45 when I can make one for nothing. I haven't made damascus but I am going to try. I have a bunch of knives and things I'm working on right now.
