Default Fllorida open carry knife?

I've looked up and down and can't find an answer . Any FL leos in the house? Can you open carry a knife? Is there a blade length restriction ?

Florida is not an open carry weapons state. A knife is a weapon. You can get a concealed carry weapons permit which includes knives. They use the word weapons not firearms for that reason.
Weapons in your car, properly cased is ok w/o any permit. Say, in the console or glove compartment.

I would warn you that to carry a knife concealed or openly at a school will still get you in trouble. You might also want to check for Federal restrictions for places like Post Offices.

probly everywhere I'm not allowed to conceal carry I imagine correct?

The laws are so opposite here in Canada. We are able to carry knives openly bit have to hide guns during transport
