I finally finished this one. I hope my moms husband likes it and puts it to good use as a boy scout leader.

Thanks, the leather work is harder for me than building the knifes.

I have 3 more Damascus knifes going now. 2 small skinners and one hunter. I can't wait to get them done. The hunter is a special order for a family member it's got to be done by Sunday so we shall see how it comes out with a simple sheath.

This is the ruff blade shape I did tonight. In what little time I had after a 12 hr work day in the heat.

Well the pattern didn't come out how they wanted so I'm gonna build this for my brother so it's gonna be 100% custom one of a kind for him.

Here is the start of the end cap I'm doing on this knife. It's damascus I have to attach the shank and etch it.

Well this knife has really been testing my patents today. It warped and then dished out on me so after 3 attempts to fix it I had to heat and hammer the dish out of the blade then differential heat treat the blade using a map gas torch. What a day. Now I'm starting the handle.

After fixing the blade it was time for 3 hrs of hand sanding.

Finished
