The only thing that keeps me from doing this is the number of jackasses I see on Youtube doing dumb stuff with firearms, and further adding ammo to the antis.

We lack the funds to give this the scientific "respectability" that would keep it from being "Look at that redneck doing dumb s**t on a gun forum."

I'm sending an E-mail to Cold Steel based on what we have thus far.

What I would like is for Lynn Thompson to sign on for an hour or two at a specified time, and take questions or comments from the forum, maybe discuss upcoming projects, a sort of "FTF exclusive".

And though we've voided warranty a long time ago, at least replace J.D.'s knife. The advertising generated at least one purchase to my Warlord of Fayette, and I know a couple of my brothers here are almost off the fence.

Back to cutting......

I think your concern is well placed Benning. We aren't scientists, we aren't mathmeticians and/or MIT seniors looking to cement their legacy.

Granted, we are some of the craziest mofo's of cyberspace.

But, outside of this forum, we would be exactly what you have described "Look at these two idiots and what they are doing".

I am not convinced that splitting a bullet with the blade is really going to prove THAT much more.

I mean, have you guys read the first few pages?

This thing is a Terminator of pocket knives. It's gone through hard currency, wire, denim, free hanging rope, shaved a man's head, split a hard hat, destroyed a coconut, pierced a can of Alpo, went through a SNOW SHOVEL.

Is splitting a bullet REALLY going to be THAT much more impressive??

I personally think the danger and the possible negative fuel for the anti's outweighs any possible WOW moment of seeing it happen.

JD

Are we talking hanging cinder block, hitting it with the spine of the blade?

Or are you talking about trying to cut through the concrete block WITH the blade???

After all the abuse can it still slice a tomato without mushing it and/or slice bread without crushing it.
