Default Damascus Skinner For The Kids

I thought I was done forging for the summer but had a reason come up to build another blade. This one will be raffled off to help our local area Foster Children's Christmas fundraiser this year. I guess you can't find a better reason to heat up the forge and anvil than Christmas and little kids.

224 layer Damascus using 1084 and 15n20 steels, Austenitize at 1500 °F and oil quenched- tempered to 58 HRC (spheroidized). Dyed Box Elder Burl wood handle.
