Default Love Cold Steel

Looks like a miniature Gurkha...Cold Steel has some outstanding knives, tomahawks, machetes and swords.

I have my doubts about that company. Has anyone here used their gear extensively with good results ?

Yes, I've used some of them to the point of abuse and they've never failed. I don't believe you'll find a stronger blade on the market today. I've got knives from Benchmade, SOG, Buck, Gerber & Ka-Bar. They're all good knives and I use nearly all of them for different cutting or skinning tasks, but if I could only have one company's knives it would be Cold Steel hands down.

Have you ever seen their Proof DVD? If not, get a copy and watch it. I don't believe you'll have any more doubts. They do things to and with their products that no other manufacturer have, that I've seen. In fact, Cold Steel is the only knife manufacturer I've ever seen to put out a DVD of their testing and demonstration of their products. They have a lifetime limited warranty. Most knife companies don't, that says something about them too.

Do you live under a rock?

Cold Steel has been making outstanding knives for a very long time, and their video testing is famous.

I took the "Cold Steel Challenge" about 25 years ago and sold off all of my expensive handmade knives, as a result. And I'm not concerned about the price of good knives.
