A classic Patrick Henry bowie knife for an Iowan
A gentleman from Denison, Iowa, asked me to craft this knife for his friend. It is a classic Patrick Henry bowie. The style of its blade became famous during the Revolutionary War. The blade measures 9-inches long and 1 13/16-inches at its widest point. It is fabricated from 440c high carbon stainless steel with a mirror finish. A large solid brass guard separates the blade and handle. The large elk antler handle has been specially treated, finely sanded, polished and fitted with a fancy wooden end cap.
Now, that's a knife. With due credit to Crocodile Dundee.
