i could see a hawkbill doing some serious damage if one were engaged in some hand to hand fighting ... especially so if one could keep a closed fist on the blade handle

The Hawkbill and the Karambit are knives that, with an icepick knife fighting grip, are insane in their ability to cause damage.

I have studied the Karambit for a couple of years now while looking for the ideal choice to add to my extensive collection.

Perhaps I need a Hawkbill instead.

Or you could go full bore and get the Spyderco Civilian. It is on my wish list but the others you mentioned are definitely worth a look.

I have this, and you are correct, it is the Queen. I'll do a pic.

J.D., if you must choose a hawk, this is the one....

This monster comes with a label that states it has no utility purpose whatsoever, it's solely for flesh....

The Spyderco Civilian is serrated. I hate serrated. It's seldom designed for anything beyond cutting rope.

Not so with this. You can literally shave with this monster.

This luscious Queen rends flesh.

That's the kind of knife that'll leave a man's guts on the floor. I WANT ONE.
