I started out as a rifle collector. I just wanted to get a handful of bayonets to go with a few of my rifles. However, the bayonet bug bit and the bayonets just took over. Here are a few of mine, shown mounted on their rifles.

German Ersatz bayonet on Gewehr 98 rifle.

Finnish M1939 bayonet on Finn Mosin M1939 rifle.

Norway-modified ex-German Kar 98k bayonet on M-1 Garand rifle.

Saudi Arabia KCB-77 M6 bayonet on Kar 98k rifle.

The bayonet cannot be abolished for the reason, if for no other, that it is the sole and exclusive embodiment of that willpower which, alone, both in war and everyday life, attains its object.—General M. I. Dragomirov
