Default Barnett Ghost 410

Got my crossbow in yesterday...

Barnett Ghost 410 - Other Weapons

Came with all shown including the cool cap.

Assembly was simple...
Barnett Ghost 410 - Other Weapons

VERY powerful. Quite smooth. Impressed so far!

Out of the box was not dead on, but not far off...

Will have some time to document shot pattern at distance this weekend and will follow up with that report and pics.

Turkeys beware this spring!

I just got the Barnett Jackal last year. So far I've really enjoyed it and it is a screaming tack driver.

Same here TT, I've bow hunted for the last 30ish years. When it came time to replace my most recent compound, I decided to go with the now legal crossbow option here in PA.

Yes. Fits her perfect! Much tamer than the 410, but still an adequate Hunter.

They are both well made and shoot smooth...
The 410 is a HOSS compared to the recruit, but also longer, heavier, and twice as hard to cock. At 1/3 the price, I feel the Recruit is the value bow of the two. It also shoots 20" bolts which are easier to find than the 22" for the 410.

It came with a three post red dot that is easy to target. Got hers at Dicks and got 10% off by applying (not using) for a credit line.

Best price I can find without running in for some stupid 5 hour sale or somthing is ebay since I"ll be getting paid by pay pal it will be easier to turn it around and buy off ebay sold my Commando for the 80's for enough to buy the bow, the crank for easier coking, a 5 pack of extra bolts, and a spare string. Looks like I have to wait a few days to order though didn't realize they hold up my money a few days. makes sense though since I"m a new seller they need to vet me out first. But still soon it will be MINE ah ha ha ha ha (best evil laugh I can muster).

Ok...chores done, had some time for a range report on this bolt flinger...

I probably have 10 shots or so in fine tuning the scope and getting used to the bow before the three shown on target.

From my back deck-

Barnett Ghost 410 - Other Weapons

At this distance/angle-

Barnett Ghost 410 - Other Weapons

With this result-

Barnett Ghost 410 - Other Weapons

Too tight to point more than one per bullseye from now on
