Anyone know anything about this knife???
I've googled to hell and back and cant find the first thing about it or the manufacturer ...

Heres a couple pics. its old made in solingen germany has leather wrap at each end of the stag handle and the manu name is Stoeger Zephyr.
thats it so if anyone knows anything about it id love to hear as i said i googled till i couldnt google no more and couldnt find a damn thing ... thanks

Many of these horn handled sheath knives were imported into the US from the 1950's to about the 1970's. Most were built in Germany.

someone almost traded me a Ka-Bar for it once but even though it was a Ka-Bar im glad i kept it

Yes keep it! I have a Ka-Bar and I swear by it. Where I live and the places I frequent no one cares about the knife you carry, and I've carried a gun with no CCW permit for quite a while before I got it (the CCW permit).
One thing though, Ka-Bars are still being made. And depending on where you shop you can find them for anywhere between 40 and 80 dollars depending on the style and store.
You'd have a hard time (maybe) of replacing that German knife if you regretted the trade later, and personally I have great respect for German blade makers.
